Realizing that Easter is next weekend (NO! How can it be already???), I realized if I wanted to try out my springerle cookie mold for Easter, I better do it today! So, I made my first batch!
I overbaked the second cookie sheet of cookies, as they are not the "hallmark" white on top, but a little golden, instead. Still, all in all, not bad for my first attempt. I hope they taste good! Here is a wonderful website that has the recipes, as well as the molds and flavorings. It's called
