In Loving Memory...

My Wonderful Mom
Dorothea A. Mumm
February 8, 1926-April 1, 2010
I miss her so much
So sudden ... so unexpected ... my Mom's death. Now, my Dad, whose health has been fragile for so long, faces the future without her by his side. Please keep him in your prayers.
Things my Mom loved:
Heath Bars
Peanut-butter filled pretzels
Ginger ale
Pancakes and bacon
Coffee with cream
Walking
Sitting outside
Her red gloves
AquaFreshToothpaste
Dial Soap
Viva paper towels
Arpege perfume
Hot tea with milk
Butter cookies
Singing
Saying the Rosary
Going to Mass
Shopping
Giving hugs
Making everyone feel special

Oh Anita, I am so sorry for your loss. You have been taking such good care of your parents lately. Now it is her turn to look after you.

Oh my heart goes out to you. it makes me cry just thinking about when my mom passed, and it'll be 20 years this September. May she rest in peace and may you find peace with it. Prayers to your dad as well.

I just wanted to pop in and say how sorry I am to hear about your Mom.
It is so sad to lose a parent...remember all the things you loved best about her, it will keep her close to you!

I'm sorry for your loss of your mother. Mine left this world in 1985 and I still talk with her in the garden, when I knit or crochet, in the kitchen.... She is with me in so many ways and still provides comfort. Although you can no longer talk with your mother in person or on the phone, you can talk with her from your heart - and she will hear you.

Peace be with you,
Lois in Cincinnati

What a beautiful post.

I lost my Dad almost 4 years ago, and I understand completely.

Keep her alive in your memory, and believe that she is with you every step of the way in bringing your Dad into to your home. God bless you.
